CERR has reviewed the World Bank Group report "Public Investment as a Catalyst: Mobilizing Private Capital in Europe and Central Asia." The document notes that public investment, when backed by the right reforms, does not crowd out private investment, but rather complements it and helps countries in Europe and Central Asia (hereinafter referred to as ECA) achieve more sustainable growth, increased productivity, and job creation.
