Projects with Korean companies launched and initiated in Uzbekistan
Within the framework of the Uzbek-Korean business forum with the participation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a ceremony was held to launch and begin the construction of joint projects with leading companies and financial institutions of the Republic of Korea.
The Chemical Technology Center has begun operations in Tashkent. The production of Kia Sonet Prime vehicles and body panels was launched in the Jizzakh region, the manufacture of electrical products in the Fergana region, and polymer products in the Namangan region.
The construction of the National Oncology Center, a higher medical educational institution, as well as an enterprise for the production of robots and their components has also begun in the capital.
The new projects cover industry, the automotive sector, medicine, education, robotics, and the manufacture of high-tech products, expanding the areas of Uzbek-Korean investment cooperation.
