Granting a special status to active citizens and incentivizing them is under consideration

In Uzbekistan, it is proposed to introduce the status of "Active Citizen in Society" in order to support citizens actively participating in the life of society. The draft government resolution to this effect has been submitted for public discussion.

According to the document, the social activity of citizens will be evaluated based on the following five criteria:

Up to 20 points can be scored for each direction, totaling 100 points. The evaluation will be carried out on the principle of "1 hour — 1 point".

In addition, it is planned to grant the following privileges to those who receive the status of "Active Citizen":

Furthermore, citizens will be awarded the "Active Citizen" badge, and a special sign will be installed on their homes.

To obtain the status, it will be possible to apply through public service centers or my.gov.uz. The processes will be carried out on the "Raqamli mahalla" (Digital Mahalla) platform.

As a reminder, the document is currently a draft, and the privileges in it have not entered into force.
