Digital platforms for mahallas have been introduced in Uzbekistan.
New platforms will help mahallas analyze data, identify population problems, and use artificial intelligence for targeted outreach.

The Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan hosted a presentation of innovative digital platforms designed to modernize citizen engagement and integrate advanced technologies at the mahalla level. The platforms presented included "Raqamli Mahalla" (Digital Mahalla), "Aqlli Mahalla" (Smart Mahalla), and "Mahalla AI."
The "Raqamli Mahalla" platform was designed for in-depth analysis of the social status of households and individuals, enabling effective identification of families in need of support, targeted outreach to the unemployed, and monitoring the fulfillment of public requests.
The "Mahalla AI" system consolidates information on all 8,992 mahallas in Uzbekistan in a single digital space. This allows users to ask questions in plain Uzbek and quickly receive the necessary data.
According to information presented during the presentation, 7,786 mahalla chairmen are already registered on the platform. Twelve functional roles are available for different user categories.
Furthermore, event participants were shown the achievements of the "Urgench – Smart City" project, which currently includes over 300 different services.
The digital tools presented are designed not only to optimize the work of mahalla employees but also to significantly expand the potential for the timely identification of problem areas among the population, in-depth data analysis, and the development of targeted solutions.
