Fire breaks out on roof of multi-storey building in Chinaz

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a fire broke out on the roof of one of the multi-storey buildings located in the Chinaz district of the Tashkent region.

It was reported that on August 22 at 08:17 in the morning, the Tashkent Regional Emergency Situations Department received a report about a fire breaking out on the roof of a multi-storey building located on Sharof Rashidov Street, Bunyodkor MFY, Chinaz district.

Based on this report, fire and rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire.

All residents of the multi-storey building at the specified address were evacuated. The fire was completely contained at 09:10 and completely extinguished after 25 minutes, at 09:35.

"There is no information that anyone was injured as a result of the incident. The situation is currently under full control. The causes of the fire and the amount of damage are being determined," the report said.

Earlier, there were reports of a fire at a construction market in the Yangi Namangan district of the Namangan region, as well as shops burning near the "Izza" market in the Zangiota district.
