The roof of a multi-story building caught fire in Tashkent. Video

A fire broke out on the roof of a multi-story building in Tashkent.

On the evening of August 16, the roof of an apartment building on Asaka Street in Tashkent's Mirzo-Ulugbek District caught fire. Fire crews extinguished the fire within an hour and a half, and there were no injuries.

The Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department received a fire alert at 10:02 PM. Rescue teams immediately arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire.

The fire was completely extinguished by 11:33 PM. No one was injured in the incident.

Experts are currently determining the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of the damage.

As a reminder, a fire broke out in a residential building in Tashkent's Uchtepa District on the night of August 15. Emergency Ministry personnel successfully evacuated residents, but the commander of the special battalion group, Captain Boburmirzo Pardayev, died during the rescue operation.
