Pakistani Air Force launched a strike on Afghanistan

The Pakistani Armed Forces attacked a desert area in the ninth district of Kandahar in southern Afghanistan. Afghan authorities reported that the attack resulted in neither destruction nor casualties, although the explosion was heard throughout the city.

According to him, the attack did not lead to destruction or casualties. At the same time, a powerful explosion was heard in all areas of the city. Law enforcement agencies urged residents not to worry.

Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar stated that the Pakistani Air Force carried out strikes on ten targets inside Afghanistan. According to Islamabad, these facilities were used for launching and storing drones. He did not provide any other details.

Tensions between the two countries have persisted since October last year following Pakistani airstrikes on Kabul. At that time, the Afghan Ministry of Defense announced the start of a "retaliation operation." After several days of mutual strikes, mediated by Qatar and Turkey, the parties agreed to a ceasefire.

In late February, Afghanistan launched an operation along the Durand Line in response to new Pakistani airstrikes. Islamabad returned fire and declared the beginning of an open armed conflict with the Taliban.
