Three people killed in Pakistan airstrike on Afghanistan

At least three people have fallen victim to an airstrike by Pakistani forces on Kunar province in northeastern Afghanistan. Several others were injured.

According to Tolo News, the strike targeted the Nurgal district. One woman and two men were killed, while two other women and two men were injured. In Paktika province, a house and a shop came under attack, but no one was killed or injured there.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid condemned the actions of the Pakistani military and stated that an "adequate response" would be given.

The airstrike occurred two days after an attack on a police station in the city of Kohat in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. In that incident, a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle laden with explosives into the wall of the station, after which accompanying armed men opened fire. Thirty-one people were killed and more than 100 were injured.

No other details of the incident have been provided. Pakistani authorities have not commented on the information regarding the airstrike.
