At least 16 killed in attack on mosque in Pakistan
A vehicle loaded with explosives rammed into a mosque building during Friday prayers, a senior police official told the BBC.

Eleven civilians and five police officers were killed after a vehicle packed with explosives crashed into a mosque in north-western Pakistan, a senior police official in Peshawar said.
Gunfire is still being exchanged between the attackers and security forces at the scene in Kohat district, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A police officer said one of the assailants has been killed by police.
Local media report that a rescue operation is under way and that the death toll could rise.
