Onodera Group to help prepare Uzbekistanis for work in Japan

Governor of Tashkent Region Zoyir Mirzayev held talks with representatives of the Japanese corporation Onodera Group, discussing the preparation of Uzbek citizens for work in Japan and their subsequent employment.

The parties paid special attention to training drivers and creating specialized infrastructure for their preparation.

According to the proposed program, candidates will undergo professional training prior to leaving for work in Japan.

During the training period, the company plans to provide them with free meals and accommodation, as well as cover visa processing, employment assistance, and housing arrangements upon arrival in Japan.

As part of the cooperation, representatives of 17 Japanese companies are also expected to visit Tashkent Region. Their participation is intended for discussing employment opportunities for Uzbekistanis.

One of the key topics of the negotiations was the creation of a special driving circuit in the region. It is planned to adapt it to the specifics of Japanese traffic regulations, including differences in road signs and vehicle operating requirements.

Onodera Group representatives offered assistance in implementing this project.

In addition, the possibility of opening a driver training college on the territory of the driving circuit was discussed. Another initiative involves sending bus drivers from Tashkent Region to Japan for three-month advanced training courses.

It is expected that after completing the training and studying Japanese traffic regulations, program participants will be able to share the acquired knowledge in Uzbekistan.

In particular, they will be able to teach in local educational institutions and train new drivers in accordance with the requirements applied in Japan.

According to the presented plans, the new educational center will be able to train up to 200 people annually.

The meeting also reviewed the training of citizens in other specialties, upgrading their professional qualifications, and facilitating employment in foreign labor markets.
