On October 10, the regular "Day Without a Car" campaign will be held in all regions of Uzbekistan. The Environmental Committee has called on citizens and organizations to support this initiative and, if possible, to refrain from using personal vehicles.
The campaign aims to reduce harmful emissions from cars and promote public transport, bicycles, and other eco-friendly modes of travel.
As part of the nationwide "Clean Air" project, the "Day Without a Car" and "Week Without a Car" campaigns are held on the 10th and 25th of each month. According to a presidential decree, state civil servants are prohibited from using official vehicles during these events.
