VGTRK correspondent Valentin Bogdanov asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy when he would visit Moscow, during the UN General Assembly in New York. The Kremlin has been maintaining that a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine can only be held in Moscow.
Bogdanov repeatedly shouted to him in Russian: "Vladimir Alexandrovich, when to Moscow?"
The Ukrainian president initially ignored his question, but eventually replied briefly: "On a missile," possibly adding a swear word at the end (the last word cannot be deciphered in the video).
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov reacted to the Ukrainian leader's statement during a briefing as follows: "First of all, Zelenskyy did not refuse to come to Moscow, at least I did not hear such a thing. He is currently making many statements in New York within the framework of the UN General Assembly. As for the ceasefire issue, we repeat once again – we are open to a peaceful resolution process, but we believe that we must strive precisely for peace, not a temporary truce. There is no change in this position of ours."
