Official: Ferran Torres joins PSG

Paris Saint-Germain have officially announced the transfer of Ferran Torres, who scored the winning goal in the 2026 World Cup final.

The 26-year-old striker has signed a contract with the Parisian club until 2031. He will wear the number 9 shirt for his new team.

PSG coach Luis Enrique is an important figure for Torres. It was during Enrique's time in charge of the Spanish national team that the player made his debut for the national team in 2020.

The Spanish striker played 49 games in all competitions for Barcelona in the 2025/2026 season, scoring 21 goals and providing 3 assists.

For information, Torres moved from Manchester City to Barcelona in January 2022. He spent four and a half seasons at the Catalan club, scoring 65 goals in 207 appearances and winning a number of trophies.
