Spanish clubs Barcelona and French PSG have reached an agreement on the transfer of 26-year-old striker Ferran Torres. Although initial negotiations were marred by disagreements over transfer bonuses, all issues were resolved positively in the end. This was reported by the Spanish publication Sport.es.

According to the final agreement between the clubs, the Paris team will pay the Catalans a guaranteed sum of 50 million euros for the Spanish player. The contract also includes additional bonuses of 5 million euros.

According to the source, last week Barcelona rejected PSG's initial offer of 40+10 million euros. After that, Parisian president Nasser Al-Khelaifi personally approved an increase in the guaranteed payment to 50 million euros, and the transfer was finalized.

The 26-year-old forward made 49 appearances for the Blues last season, scoring 21 goals and providing three assists. The player's current contract with the Catalan club runs until the summer of 2027. Transfermarkt estimates the striker's market value at 55 million euros.
