Nurses with higher education will receive salary bonuses

Nurses with higher education will begin receiving monthly bonuses. These changes were announced by the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

The press service of the department reported that starting next academic year, the School of Advanced Medical Support will open on the basis of the Academy of Nurses of the Tashkent State Medical University. The project will be implemented jointly with the University of Pennsylvania, whose School of Nursing ranks first in the world.

The undergraduate program "Higher Nursing" will be renamed "Higher Medical Support." Undergraduate enrollment will be increased by at least 20% annually. Training will be organized under joint programs with leading foreign universities, incorporating at least 70% of their educational programs into the learning process.

Undergraduate graduates will receive a monthly bonus equal to one minimum wage. Master's degree graduates will receive two minimum wages.
