Directors of vocational education organizations who have received management certificates will be encouraged with bonuses

In Uzbekistan, directors of vocational education institutions will now be awarded bonuses if they have a management certificate. This is stipulated in the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 451 dated August 20, “On measures to further improve the system of management of the vocational education system and professional development of pedagogical personnel.”

According to the Presidential Resolution No. PQ-316 dated October 23, 2025, the qualifications of general education teachers will be improved at the Abdulla Avloni National Institute of Pedagogical Skills and regional pedagogical skill centers.

The qualifications of special subject teachers will be improved at leading higher educational institutions, and the qualifications of industrial training masters will be improved at regional advanced vocational technical schools and organizations authorized to engage in advanced training activities in the relevant field.

Also, starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, a system of monthly bonuses of 50 percent of the salary of directors of vocational educational institutions and 30 percent of their deputies will be introduced based on a management certificate.

The document approved the Regulation on the procedure for training directors and deputy directors of vocational educational institutions in management training courses and issuing them with a management certificate. This regulation establishes the relevant procedures.
