Nurses and male nurses with higher education will be paid an allowance

The "Higher Nursing Work" undergraduate education direction will be changed to the "Higher Medical Companionship Work" direction, and female graduates will be awarded the qualification of "nurse" (hamshira), while male graduates will be awarded the qualification of "medical brother" (tibbiyot ogʻasi).

Nurses and male nurses with higher education will receive allowances

Starting from the 2027/2028 academic year, the School of Advanced Medical Nursing will be established on the basis of the Academy of Nurses within the Tashkent State Medical University, in cooperation with the University of Pennsylvania of the USA.

The undergraduate education direction "Higher Nursing" will be replaced by the direction "Higher Medical Nursing", and female graduates will be awarded the qualification of "nurse" (hamshira), while male graduates will be awarded the qualification of "male nurse" (tibbiyot ogʻasi).

Admission to undergraduate programs will be increased by at least 20 percent annually, and education will be organized on the basis of joint programs with leading foreign higher education institutions, with the assimilation of at least 70 percent of their curricula.

Nurses and male nurses who have completed undergraduate studies will be paid a monthly allowance in the amount of 1 time the minimum wage, and those who have completed master's studies will receive 2 times the minimum wage.
