Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullayev held a meeting with Albertas Sitavichyus, Director of the Lithuanian international transport company TVG Group.
During the negotiations, special attention was paid to expanding the geography of legal and orderly labor migration and diversifying its directions.
In particular, the possibilities of expanding the scope of organized employment of Uzbek citizens in Lithuania were discussed.
In addition, the issues of training professional drivers for heavy goods vehicles and developing joint measures to prevent illegal migration were considered.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue practical cooperation in these areas and to further develop mutually beneficial relations.
