Two deputy ministers of defense of Uzbekistan have been appointed in the areas of armament and anti-corruption
New Deputy Ministers of Defense Appointed
In accordance with the relevant decrees of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, new deputy ministers of defense of Uzbekistan have been appointed.
In particular, Colonel Zoidov Qahramonjon Obidjonovich has been appointed Deputy Minister of Defense for Armaments and Acquisition.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense informed the Kun.uz correspondent that the position of Deputy Minister for Armaments and Acquisition had been vacant. Prior to this appointment, Qahramonjon Zoidov served as the head of the Land Forces Institute of the Military Security and Defense University of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Additionally, Colonel of Justice Muratov Jahongir Dilshodovich has been appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Defense for Compliance and Internal Anti-Corruption Control.
Prior to this appointment, Jahongir Muratov served as the First Deputy Military Prosecutor of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The position of Deputy Minister of Defense for Compliance and Internal Anti-Corruption Control has been newly introduced.
