Nearly 600 grams of synthetic drugs found in construction equipment in Tashkent

Nearly 600 grams of synthetic narcotic substance found in construction equipment in Tashkent.

As a result of operational measures in the Chilanzor district of Tashkent, a total of 585 grams of the synthetic narcotic substance “Alfa-PVP” hidden in construction equipment was discovered.

During an inspection conducted in cooperation with the State Security Service (SSS) and internal affairs bodies as part of the “Safe and Healthy Homeland” operational-preventive measures, a resident of Yunusabad district, born in 1992, was stopped and 478 grams of “Alfa-PVP” was found hidden in a perforator construction tool next to him.

In addition, in another case recorded in the Chilanzor district, 107 grams of “Alfa-PVP” were found in a chainsaw belonging to a resident of Mirzo Ulugbek district, born in 2009.

During the pre-investigation investigation, it was revealed that in both cases the drugs were sent by mail from Russia.

Criminal cases have been initiated and investigations are underway into these cases.

Earlier, it was reported that approximately 67,000 doses of drugs were found in a citizen's apartment in the Bektemir district of Tashkent.
