Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the “New Uzbekistan” park. The presidential press service reported this.

The high-ranking guest, according to tradition, laid a flower at the foot of the Independence Monument. During a brief tour of the complex, the guest was informed about the content and distinctive features of this architectural ensemble.

The main events within the framework of the minister’s visit will be held on August 30. It will focus on expanding systematic political dialogue and cultural and humanitarian exchanges, promoting specific programs and cooperation projects in trade, energy, chemistry, geology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, mechanical engineering and other sectors of the economy.
