Namangan Region has concluded an investment agreement worth $105 million with the Italian company Gamma Meccanica.

The document was signed following negotiations between a regional delegation, led by Khokim Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov, and the company's management during a working visit to Italy.

During the trip, the delegation got acquainted with the production facilities and technologies of Gamma Meccanica, which specializes in the manufacture of industrial equipment.

The company was established in 1977. Its headquarters and main production facilities are located in the city of Bibbiano, in the Emilia-Romagna region. Gamma Meccanica produces technological lines for the production of mineral wool and XPS panels used for thermal insulation of buildings, as well as equipment for recycling plastic waste.

At the meeting with the company's President Andrea Burini, the parties discussed prospects for the development of industrial production in Namangan Region, the introduction of energy-saving technologies, and the implementation of joint projects in plastic waste recycling.

Investment cooperation issues and the possibilities of applying the company's technologies in the region's industrial sector were considered separately.

Following the negotiations, the parties signed an investment agreement for $105 million. However, the report does not specify the project's implementation timeline, its production parameters, or the allocation of investments.
