A delegation from Namangan Region, led by Khokim Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, visited Bonifiche Ferraresi, part of the BF Group agribusiness holding, as part of a working visit to Italy.
Originally established to drain marshes in the Ferrara area and prepare these lands for agricultural use, the company eventually became part of a major agribusiness group operating in modern agriculture.
During the talks, representatives of Namangan Region and Bonifiche Ferraresi discussed the possibilities of creating modern agribusiness complexes in the region and implementing joint investment projects.
Among the areas considered were the cultivation and processing of agricultural products, the development of high-yield seed production, the introduction of precision farming technologies, and the training of local specialists.
The meeting focused on the prospects of leveraging Italian expertise and technology to develop the agricultural sector of Namangan Region.
