Namangan Region expands cooperation with Belarus

Namangan Region Strengthens Ties with Belarus

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —

During its visit to Belarus, a delegation from Namangan Region, led by Khokim Shavkatjon Abdurazzokov, held a series of meetings with representatives of key ministries, agencies, and major industrial associations.

One of the central items on the agenda was cooperation in the light industry.

During talks with representatives of the Bellegprom Concern, the parties discussed prospects for joint investment projects, the introduction of advanced technologies, and increasing textile exports from Namangan Region to the Belarusian market, according to the press service of the Namangan Region Khokimiyat.

The Bellegprom Concern unites over 60 enterprises specializing in the production and sale of textile, clothing, knitwear, and leather and footwear products.

Separate meetings were also held with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus and the Belpishcheprom Association. These talks focused on establishing and further developing bilateral cooperation.
