"My sister was murdered" - A 21-year-old pregnant bride died in Surxondaryo
In the Boysun district, the interpretations of a pregnant woman's death by her relatives and the investigative body contradict each other. The expert opinion states that the death was caused by a "severe illness," while the relatives blame the groom. This is because there were injuries on the deceased's body, which were also identified during the examination. There is no record in the medical outpatient card indicating that the woman suffered from any illness.

The incident, which occurred on August 14 in the Boysun district, was reported. On that day, between approximately 09:30 and 10:00, the deceased spoke with her sister on the phone. After that, the connection was suddenly cut off. When her sister called back, the deceased's husband answered the phone and said that a fight had started. During the conversation, the man said something to the effect of "I will kill your sister" and hung up. Her sister called back several times but received no answer. After that, she contacted her brother-in-law's father. He stated that his son had gone to another house with the deceased. About 30 minutes later, the deceased's husband called her sister and informed her that the woman had died.

We told the district police officer, we went with the neighborhood representatives, and even then the groom said, 'Even if I beat her to death, no one can do anything.' She had been beaten several times before, we asked for a protection order, but they did not give it.
My sister was four months pregnant with her second child. Her husband beat her on her neck and legs; when we were washing the body, her hair was pulled out, and her back was scraped. Because he beat her by pulling her hair. There were bruises on her face and neck. She had never complained about her health before, she recently underwent a pregnancy check-up, and there is also a doctor's conclusion that her health was good. But for some reason, the forensic report states that the cause of death was acute kidney and liver disease. If she was so seriously ill, wouldn't we have known until today? We even agree to exhume my sister's grave to bring the truth to light,” they say.
In the forensic medical examination report No. 107 dated August 15, 2026, several injuries were recorded on the body of the deceased — bruising around the eyes, and abrasions on the arms and legs. Experts assessed that these injuries could have been caused by the impact of a blunt, hard object or friction. The report also stated that, based on the number of bodily injuries, force was applied to the body at least three times, and some of these injuries were inflicted before death.
The examination indicated eclampsia, acute cerebrovascular accident, subarachnoid hemorrhage, cerebral edema, acute renal failure, and other pathological diseases in the liver and kidneys as the cause of death.
