In Kashkadarya, a man beat his own daughter to death over money.

In the Kashkadarya region, a man beat his 15-year-old daughter to death after the teenager took 400,000 soums without permission.

The incident occurred on the evening of March 13, 2025, in the Mubarek district. After discovering the money was missing, the father demanded an explanation from his daughter. The girl confessed to the crime and apologized, but the man refused. He asked his son to fetch a rolling pin and began beating his daughter, despite attempts by her mother and aunt to stop him.

After the beating, the mother washed her daughter, changed her clothes, and moved her to an adjacent room. However, 10 minutes later, the teenager's condition deteriorated sharply, and she lost consciousness. An ambulance arrived and pronounced the girl dead.

A forensic examination revealed severe head and chest injuries, as well as multiple bodily injuries. In court, the man admitted to the assault but stated that he had no intention of taking his daughter's life, but merely wanted to punish her for her misdeed.

The Kasansky District Criminal Court found the man guilty of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm, resulting in the victim's death through negligence, and sentenced him to five years in prison.
