More than half of the construction work was accounted for by small businesses
In January–August 2026, small enterprises and micro-firms carried out construction work worth 142.2 trillion soums. This constituted 54.8 percent of the total volume of construction work, an increase of 10.9 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
Large construction organizations performed work worth 66.7 trillion soums over the eight months. This equals 25.7 percent of the total volume, and this indicator grew by 18.8 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year.
The volume of construction work performed by the population amounted to 50.5 trillion soums. This accounts for 19.5 percent of total construction work. The volume in this sector increased by 6.2 percent in one year.
