More than 46 thousand foreigners arrived in Uzbekistan for medical treatment in 8 months
In January–August 2026, 46,157 foreign citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for the purpose of medical treatment. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.
During this period, the largest share among foreigners arriving in Uzbekistan belonged to citizens of Tajikistan. Their number amounted to 24,293 people.
11,853 citizens from the Kyrgyz Republic and 7,022 citizens from Kazakhstan arrived in Uzbekistan for medical treatment.
Tajikistan was recorded in first place in the flow of foreign patients. It is followed by the Kyrgyz Republic and Kazakhstan.
When those arriving from Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic are calculated together, their total number is 36,146 people. This is equivalent to approximately 78.3 percent of the total foreign patients.
1,596 citizens from Afghanistan and 1,225 citizens from Russia arrived for the purpose of medical treatment. 168 people were recorded from other countries.
