“More than 100 poisoned” – Report from the hospital in Uchkuprik

Although official sources state that the number of people poisoned by fast food is 57, during the investigation, relatives of the patients being treated in hospitals said that this number is over 100.

It is quite severe, they are taking them to intensive care...

“We had hospitalized my 21-year-old grandson. Now they are saying they will take him to intensive care because his condition is more severe.

The day before, my grandson had lunch at home and said he was going to the market. He met his friend at the market. After leaving the market, they ate hot dogs together. We have gained so much trouble because of that hot dog.

Our house is behind the hot dog outlet. We used to eat hot dogs and their other food often, both by bringing it home and by going to their kitchen. Such a situation had never been observed before. Now, what can we do? May Allah grant healing to all patients,” says Dilbaroy aya Dehqonova, whose grandson is being treated in the hospital.

Patients are over 200 people...

“On September 18, my daughter felt unwell during class and returned home. Her temperature rose and she was bedridden. At first, thinking it was the flu, we gave her medicine. Later, her stomach started to hurt, and the pain began to intensify. When we inquired, it turned out they had eaten shawarma with the girls the day before, on September 17. We came to the hospital. Now her fever has gone down, and she has recovered quite a bit. A lot of patients came to the hospital. Finding a place even became a problem. Those for whom there was no room were also sent to private hospitals. There are patients in intensive care as well. The seriously ill are in the intensive care unit. From what I know, those poisoned are over 200 people. There are also those who are being treated at home without disclosing the illness,” says a mother whose daughter is being treated in the hospital.

“On September 16, at 22:00, I went to eat fast food. I had eaten only half of the hot dog when a slight smell was noticed. Because I was hungry, I paid no attention to it and ate it all. Then I went home and went to sleep. Around 2:00, I suddenly woke up with a stomach ache. Around 3:00 in the morning, I got diarrhea. The next day at work, my head ached and my blood pressure went up. Out of desperation, I was forced to be hospitalized.
