In Uchkuprik, the number of people poisoned by food has neared 60

There are no patients in serious or intensive care conditions. The epidemiological investigation into the situation is ongoing.

The number of food poisoning cases in Uchkuprik has neared 60

The number of people suspected of food poisoning in the Uchkuprik district has reached 57. This was reported by the Food Safety Committee.

On September 17–18, 2026, residents of the Uchkuprik district of the Fergana region turned to the district medical association with complaints of weakness, nausea, and diarrhea.

As of 8:00 PM, 57 citizens had sought medical assistance and were hospitalized.

As a reminder, during the preliminary epidemiological investigation, it was established that the citizens who sought help had consumed products such as hot dogs and bread-burgers at one of the fast-food outlets located on Navruzshoh Street in the Uchkuprik district.

Doctors suspected food poisoning in the patients. There are no patients in severe condition or in intensive care.

The epidemiological investigation into the situation is ongoing.
