President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the film set of the historical feature "Husayn," dedicated to the childhood years of the great scholar Abu Ali ibn Sina.
The film is being produced by order of the Center for the Development of Children's Content. At the "Uzbekfilm" studio, sets reflecting the atmosphere of the era in which the future scholar lived were built specially for the shooting. The head of state inspected the historical city walls, streets, market squares, as well as the costumes and props used in the work on the picture.
The plot centers on the story of young Husayn ibn Abdullah, his passion for medicine, respect for his mentors, and humanistic values. The filmmakers want to introduce young viewers to the scholar's life, his thirst for knowledge, and his personal qualities.
During a conversation with the creative team, Mirziyoyev noted the need to continue supporting films dedicated to the history and prominent representatives of the Uzbek people. According to him, cinema should help the younger generation learn about the heritage of great scholars, sparking interest in the past and respect for national history.
The President praised the constructed sets, emphasizing the importance of an authentic recreation of the historical era on screen.
The production of the film "Husayn" is included in the roadmap extending to 2030, which provides for the in-depth study and popularization of the scientific heritage of Abu Ali ibn Sina. The document also includes preparations for the celebration of the 1,050th anniversary of the scholar's birth.
