Uzbekistan will annually provide 200 educational grants to young citizens of Turkic states. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this on October 30 at the 13th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Ankara.

The head of state called on the youth of the organization's member countries to take advantage of this opportunity. According to him, investments in the education of young people possessing modern knowledge and skills will become the foundation for long-term cooperation between the states.

In addition, as part of the "Yangi Uzbekistan" scholarship program, 500 foreign students have already received study grants.

Earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed simplifying travel for citizens between the countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), including expanding the possibilities of crossing borders using ID cards. He came forward with this initiative on October 30 at the organization's summit in Ankara.
