Meetings with Citizens of Uzbekistan Working in Russia Held in Kazan

Meetings between representatives of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan and citizens of the country temporarily working in the Republic of Tatarstan took place in Kazan.

The working group was led by the authorized officer of the Migration Agency, Yu. Kabulzhanov. Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan, regional staff of the Migration Agency, and representatives of JSC "Uzbekistan Airways" also participated in the events.

At the municipal unitary enterprise "Metroelectrotrans" in Kazan, 211 citizens of Uzbekistan are employed. More than 60 compatriots took part in the meeting with the agency representatives.

Later, the working group held another meeting with 70 citizens of Uzbekistan working at the construction organization LLC "GEN STROY".

The participants were briefed on the main requirements of Russian legislation in the field of labor and migration activities. Particular emphasis was placed on compliance with the law, preventing involvement in offenses and criminal activities, as well as on personal safety issues and the need to remain vigilant.

The compatriots were also informed about opportunities to continue working in safe conditions, vacancies in other regions of Russia, and options for receiving practical assistance with legal employment.

Separately, the possibilities of returning to Uzbekistan and subsequent employment in their homeland, as well as state employment support measures, were discussed.

The Migration Agency, together with the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in Russia, continues to hold meetings with citizens working abroad, focusing on protecting their rights and interests, ensuring safety, and providing the necessary legal and practical assistance.
