Manchester City could sign Barcelona player - El Nacional

Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing a Barcelona player, according to El Nacional.

Barcelona's transfer plans have changed significantly since Rodri joined the club. Now, a number of players, including some of the team's leaders, are expected to leave the club.

One of the main candidates who could say goodbye to the Catalans is Frenkie de Jong. There were reports that Juventus were seriously interested in the Dutch player. This is because De Jong's future at the club remains uncertain after Rodri's arrival.

However, well-known insider Matteo Moretto has categorically denied rumors that De Jong will move to the Turin club. The journalist claims that these reports have no basis. In addition, the player is currently recovering from a serious injury, which almost eliminates the possibility of him moving to another team in the summer transfer window.

El Nacional reported that Manchester City are seriously interested in the Dutch midfielder. According to the report, the English club is preparing to make an offer to De Jong once he has fully recovered from his injury, around the end of this year.
