Barcelona offer Manchester City a player swap deal for Rodri

Spanish football club Barcelona has offered its player Frenkie de Jong in a bid to sign Manchester City midfielder Rodri Hernandez, according to El Nacional.

According to the source, the Catalan club has offered De Jong to Manchester City as part of a deal for Rodri. However, it is not yet clear how the exchange will end.

Earlier, there were reports that Barcelona were ready to pay 45 million euros for Rodri. However, during negotiations, the English club demanded a higher amount. Therefore, it is believed that Barcelona decided to include De Jong in this deal.

For information, the 29-year-old De Jong played a total of 38 games in all competitions last season, scoring 1 goal and providing 8 assists. Rodri has made 33 appearances for Manchester City, scoring two goals.
