Managing Editor of Podrobno.uz Becomes Laureate of Atirgul – 2026 Contest

Mila Aksyonova, Managing Editor of Podrobno.uz, has won the Atirgul – 2026 republican contest in the category "For the Best Journalistic Material in Online Media."

The solemn award ceremony took place today, September 15, at the National Press Center of Uzbekistan. The contest was organized by the Journalists' Union of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Committee for Family and Women's Affairs.

Atirgul – 2026 is held among women working in the mass media. Its goal is to recognize the professional achievements of female journalists and their contribution to the development of the media sphere. This year, winners were selected in 12 categories.

Other categories of the contest included the best television, radio journalism, and print materials, investigative journalism, social network project, photojournalism, documentary film, or special media project. Separate categories were dedicated to young and regional journalists, as well as public recognition and a special jury prize.
