The “Honorable Path” competition offers new opportunities for young people.
The Journalists’ Union of Uzbekistan announced the “Honorable Path” video competition on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of our country’s independence. This creative project is significant in that it is aimed at supporting the potential of young journalists and bloggers, promoting the large-scale reforms implemented during the years of independence through modern media, and demonstrating the attitude of the new generation to the development of the Motherland.
Today, video content has become one of the most influential tools not only for disseminating information, but also for shaping public opinion. In particular, the creative approach of young people, their mastery of modern technologies, and the ability to effectively use new media opportunities further enhance their active participation in public life. The “Honorable Path” competition serves to reveal this potential.
Young journalists and bloggers aged 18 to 30 can participate in the competition. Creative works will be evaluated in the nominations “Best Video”, “Best Video Created with the Help of Artificial Intelligence” and “Best Video Created on Mobilography”. This indicates that the competition is organized in accordance with modern media trends.
Participants can prepare videos on such topical topics as “Independence is in my destiny”, “New Uzbekistan - a country of new opportunities”, “Youth - the creators of New Uzbekistan” and “My Homeland - my pride”. These areas allow young people to express their reaction to the changes in the years of independence, their aspirations for the prosperity of the Motherland and their civic position based on a creative approach.
Creative works can be submitted to the Journalists' Union of Uzbekistan until August 20, 2026. The winners and prize-winners of the competition will be announced on the eve of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
