Lukoil intends to expand its activities in Uzbekistan

On October 6, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev discussed with Lukoil founder Vagit Alekperov the company's ongoing projects in the country's energy sector and plans to expand its presence.

In particular, the conversation touched upon geological exploration, the development of hydrocarbon fields, and the expansion of the retail network for petroleum products.

Alekperov briefed the President on the current status of the company's projects being implemented in Uzbekistan.

Separately, the parties reviewed plans to expand Lukoil's activities in the country.
