"Lola va kabob" festival to be held in Guzar, "Chiyal yaxna" in Kokdala

Tarag'ay village in Chiroqchi, Bashir in Kitob, and Tatar in Yakkabog', which are similar in nature to G'elong, will also be turned into ethnotourism centers.

In Gʻuzor, the "Tulip and Kebab" festival, and in Koʻkdala, the "Chiyal Yakhna" festival will be organized.

All the conditions exist to attract 6 million tourists a year to Qashqadaryo. Since the beginning of the year, 2.5 million tourists have visited the region, with the number of visitors to the village of Gʻelon alone reaching 500 thousand.

In cooperation with Tatarstan, the first phase of the ski resort in Gʻelon is planned to be launched next year. Opportunities were noted to transform the villages of Taragʻay in Chiroqchi, Bashir in Kitob, and Tatar in Yakkabogʻ—whose nature is similar to Gʻelon—into ethnotourism centers.

It was stated that rafting and sports tourism can be developed based on mountain rivers in the villages of Sayyod and Suvtushar in the Shahrisabz district.

Officials were instructed to prepare a master plan for these six villages within one month and start $50 million projects from March 1.

Additionally, holding the "Tulip and Kebab" gastronomic festival in Gʻuzor and the "Chiyal Yakhna" gastronomic festival in Koʻkdala every spring will be established.
