On August 21-22, the village of Zarkent, located in the Parkent District of the Tashkent Region, will become a hub for grape, culinary, and travel enthusiasts. The international "Uzum Sayli" festival will be held there.

The festival's goals include increasing tourism, familiarizing participants with advanced viticulture and winemaking practices, and promoting Uzbek ecotourism products globally. Furthermore, one of the goals is to attract foreign investment into the industry.

Zarkent will bring together farmers from all over the country, entrepreneurs developing wine tourism, and natural beverage producers. Visitors will have the opportunity to attend agricultural fairs and exhibitions of international wine companies.

A special program will be dedicated to the development of viticulture: international conferences and forums are planned where participants will be able to exchange knowledge and discuss the future of the industry.

The cultural portion of the festival, organized by the Tourism Committee jointly with the Tashkent Regional Khokimiyat, will include performances by folk ensembles and pop singers, as well as events dedicated to national customs and traditions.

Previously, the three-day "Melon Festival" in Khorezm attracted over a million visitors from around the world and was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of melon varieties tasted.
