Land plots near "Navruz" Park have been put up for auction. It is specified that a public park will be established on a part of the territory
Two land plots with a total area of 3.2 hectares, located on Sharof Rashidov Street in the city of Tashkent, near the "Navruz" park and the German Embassy, have been put up for sale on E-Auksion. However, in accordance with a government decision, a public park was designated to be established on a part of this territory.

The territory near the "Navro'z" Park and the German Embassy in Tashkent has been put up for sale on the E-Auksion electronic trading platform in the form of two lots.
According to the auction data, the first lot is located at 13 Sharof Rashidov Street. It consists of a 38-square-meter non-residential building and a 2-hectare land plot. The starting price is set at 436.3 billion soums.
The second object at 13A Sharof Rashidov Street consists of a 10-square-meter building and a 1.2-hectare land plot, valued at nearly 223.9 billion soums.
Thus, the total starting price of the two lots amounts to nearly 660.2 billion soums.
On the E-Auksion platform, the objects are listed as non-residential buildings. However, in the passports attached to the lots, they are recorded as "non-residential building ('Navro'z' Culture and Leisure Park)".
An evaluation report for the object at 13 Sharof Rashidov Street is also attached to one of the lots. It states that the object being evaluated is the real estate of the "Navro'z" Culture and Leisure Park. The document indicates that the purpose of the evaluation is to sell the object through open public sales.
The privatization is based on the President's Decree No. PF-177 dated August 28, 2026, on reducing state participation in the economy and accelerating privatization. Both objects are included in Appendix 3.14 of the decree under numbers 39 and 40. This appendix provides a list of state real estate objects in the city of Tashkent scheduled to be put up for open sales in 2026–2027.
The document lists the Tashkent City Territorial Department of the Center for Effective Use of State Property Objects under the State Assets Management Agency as the balance holder of both objects.
However, the privatization decree does not mention the connection of these objects to the "Navro'z" Park.
Commenting on the putting up of the objects for sale, the National Committee for Urbanization and Sustainable Development of the Housing Market announced that a public park must be established on the land plot of one of them.
This is provided for in the Cabinet of Ministers' Resolution No. 83 dated February 28, 2026. According to the document, the establishment of public parks with a total area of 139.6 hectares is designated in nine districts of Tashkent.
In the appendix to the resolution, a 1.6-hectare land plot located in the "Matonat" neighborhood of the Yunusabad district is indicated as one of such territories. Its boundaries are defined by geographical coordinates.
"It is necessary to ensure the establishment of a public park in this area in accordance with the government resolution," the National Urbanization Committee emphasized.
In the details of both lots on the E-Auksion platform, service activity is designated as the main direction of land plot use. However, the auction terms do not contain a requirement to establish a public park on the 1.6-hectare area.
