Sales of the Kia Sonet Prime, a new model in the compact urban crossover lineup, are starting in Uzbekistan. The vehicle has received a distinct design, richer equipment, and modern electronic systems, while retaining its practical format and proven powertrain. The Kia Sonet, already familiar to the market, will remain in the model range: both crossovers will be presented simultaneously in Uzbekistan.
Both versions are manufactured at the ADM Jizzakh plant using full-cycle CKD technology, which emphasizes the high level of production localization and Kia's long-term plans in the Uzbek market.
**A new look in Kia's current style**
The Sonet Prime has received completely redesigned front and rear body sections. The model's appearance utilizes Kia's modern styling: a radiator grille with complex geometry is combined with Star Map LED optics and Ice Cube fog lights.
At the rear, vertical taillights are connected by an LED strip running across the entire width of the tailgate. The composition is completed by a new bumper and an integrated spoiler.
The vehicle is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels. Seven body colors are available for the Sonet Prime, as well as two-tone options featuring a red or white body with a contrasting black roof.
**Two large screens and three interface languages**
One of the key changes in the cabin is the digital driver's area. The instrument cluster and the multimedia system have received 10.25-inch displays. The instrument cluster displays essential data about the vehicle and the operation of driver assistance systems, and its design changes depending on the selected drive mode.
The multimedia system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interface is available in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
The equipment also includes a Bose audio system with seven speakers and a subwoofer, wireless charging, USB-C and USB-A ports, climate control, Smart Key keyless entry, a power sunroof, and ambient cabin lighting with customizable colors and operating modes.
