Kia Sonet Prime expands the Sonet family in Uzbekistan
The crossover has received an expressive design, two displays with a diagonal of 10.25 inches, a suite of driver assistance systems, and a more comfortable cabin. The Sonet Prime complements the Kia Sonet already presented on the Uzbek market - both models will be sold simultaneously.
Kia Sonet Prime Expands the Sonet Family in Uzbekistan
Sales of a new model in the compact urban crossover segment, the Kia Sonet Prime, are starting in Uzbekistan. The vehicle stands out with its distinctive design, expanded equipment, and modern electronic systems, while retaining a practical format and a time-tested powertrain. The familiar Kia Sonet will also remain in the model lineup: both crossovers will be offered simultaneously in Uzbekistan.
Both versions are manufactured at the ADM Jizzakh plant using full-cycle CKD technology. This demonstrates Kia's focus on a high level of production localization and its long-term plans for the Uzbek market.
The front and rear parts of the Sonet Prime's body have been completely redesigned. Kia's modern styling is applied to the model's exterior: the radiator grille with complex geometry harmonizes with the Star Map LED optics and Ice Cube fog lights.
At the rear, vertical taillights are connected by an LED strip extending across the entire width of the tailgate. The composition is completed by a new bumper and an integrated spoiler.
The vehicle is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels. Seven different body colors are offered for the Sonet Prime, as well as two-tone options featuring a red or white body with a contrasting black roof.
One of the main innovations in the cabin is the digital driver's zone. The instrument cluster and the multimedia system are equipped with 10.25-inch diagonal displays. The instrument cluster displays key information about the vehicle and the operation of driver assistance systems, and its design changes depending on the selected drive mode.
The multimedia system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interface is available in Uzbek, Russian, and English.
The equipment list also includes a Bose audio system with seven speakers and a subwoofer, a wireless charging system, USB-C and USB-A ports, climate control, a Smart Key keyless entry system, a power sunroof, and ambient cabin lighting with customizable colors and operating modes.
