Kia's new commercial model will compete with the Ford E-Transit Custom and will be launched next year.

The South Korean company Kia has presented a new model called the PV7.
According to the brand's press service, the vehicle will be launched in both passenger and cargo versions. The Ford E-Transit Custom is cited as its main competitor.
The price of the model has not yet been disclosed, and sales will begin in 2027.
The vehicle is built on the E-GMP.S platform, sharing the same base with the smaller PV5 model. Nevertheless, the new model is larger in size than the "five". The PV7 minivan will be offered in seven-, nine-, and eleven-seat configurations.
The cargo van, meanwhile, can carry up to 1.2 tons of cargo. Its interior can accommodate three Euro-pallets.
Regardless of the modification, the Kia PV7 will be equipped with a single electric motor producing 268 horsepower. Initially, buyers will be offered the front-wheel-drive version of the model. Later, the "seven" will also get an all-wheel-drive option. In total, more than 20 different modifications have been announced.
The driving range is currently known only for the cargo Kia PV7. The vehicle in the Long Range version can travel up to 460 km on a single charge. The battery can be replenished from 10 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes. Interestingly, it has two charging ports at the same time: at the front and at the rear.
