Hyundai introduces luxury electric crossover GV90

Hyundai has unveiled the GV90 luxury electric crossover.

On August 20, Hyundai Motor unveiled its new full-size electric crossover under its Genesis brand, the GV90.

This model is built on an all-electric platform and does not have the option of installing an internal combustion engine. The car is 5.28 meters long and has a wheelbase of 3.24 meters. To improve ride comfort, the suspension system is equipped with pneumatic elements, and the basic version of the rear axle is equipped with steered wheels and a limited-slip differential. Two electric motors provide a total of 657 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, and the transmission is all-wheel drive. The traction battery with a capacity of 123.5 kWh allows you to cover a distance of 500 km on a single charge.

The standard version of the GV90 has a seven-seat, three-row cabin. At the top of the model range is the super-luxury modification called Neolun. This is a four-seat version without central pillars, with rear doors that open in the opposite direction, like Rolls-Royce cars.

In the Neolun cabin, the rear seats are equipped with ventilation, massage, heating and electric adjustment systems, as well as a folding lumbar support. The absence of central pillars is compensated by reinforced stamped elements made of high-strength steel in the sills and door sills, as well as an additional hidden frame. The rear doors operate in two stages: first they come out of the sill, then open. The hinge design allows you to control the rear and front doors independently of each other.

The front seats in the four-seat version can be turned 180 degrees when the car is stationary, forming a hotel-style salon facing the rear passengers.

The top-of-the-line trim also includes a 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, a 25-inch head-up display, and a 24.6-inch slide-out media screen.
