Jetour presents 781-horsepower Traveller 7 SUV
Jetour company presented its new Traveller 7 SUV at the auto show in Chengdu, China. According to Autohome, pre-orders for this car are currently being accepted. To reserve it, you need to make a payment of 777 yuan (about 800 thousand soums).
The main feature of the car's design is the unusual front optics with round LED daytime running lights combined with a bright line. In general, the style of the model is reminiscent of the British Land Rover Defender, which started the trend of "rectangular" bodies in the auto industry.
The car is decorated with a protruding hood and a massive rectangular air intake. Between the huge roof rails on the Traveller 7 roof is a panoramic sunroof.
Interestingly, in the teaser images, the car had an "off-road" trunk installed on the trunk lid. However, in the "live" copy, a regular spare wheel is visible at the rear.
The interior is designed in a single concept with the T2 SUV: a compact digital instrument panel, a dial for changing driving modes, a wireless charger, a rear-view camera and a large multimedia-entertainment system screen. It is worth noting that quite a few physical buttons and "old-fashioned" controls have been preserved in the cabin.
The model will be launched in China with a two-liter gasoline engine. The unit works in conjunction with an eight-speed "automatic" gearbox. The connection is complete. There is also a hybrid version with a 1.5-liter engine and three electric motors, with a capacity of 781 horsepower. The total range is 1.4 thousand km.
