Javokhir Sindarov has reached the second spot in the world rapid chess rankings

Uzbek grandmaster Javokhir Sindarov has climbed to second place in the Live Rapid world rankings. His rating has reached 2742.6 points.

Sindarov jumped four positions at once, gaining 10.6 rating points. He surpassed Ian Nepomniachtchi, Hikaru Nakamura, and Alireza Firouzja. Only Magnus Carlsen stands above the representative of Uzbekistan.

Another chess player from Uzbekistan, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, on the contrary, lost one position and is now in 13th place. His rating stands at 2704.4 points. Thus, there are now two Uzbek grandmasters in the top 15 at once.

The Live Rapid rating is updated in real-time, so the players' positions can change after every game.
