Following investigations conducted by the regional bodies of the Competition Committee in the field of public utilities, measures were taken to recalculate unjustifiably charged funds to consumers, apply fines, and issue binding instructions.

In the Jizzakh region, violation reports issued to household consumers by electricity supply enterprises were analyzed. In 8 cases, violations of legislative requirements were identified at the Arnasoy, Bakhmal, Sharof Rashidov, and Jizzakh city electricity supply enterprises, and the reports were annulled. As a result, 5.4 million soums were recalculated in favor of consumers.

Additionally, in the "Bakht" and "Samarqand" neighborhood citizens' assemblies (MFYs) of the Gallaorol district, the total hardness of drinking water at 10 points was found to exceed the established standard. The amount of 4.9 million soums charged for 1,238 m³ of water supplied from April 17 to May 5, 2026, was recalculated in favor of 276 consumers.

In the city of Samarkand, an investigation conducted based on a citizen F. Rajabova's appeal revealed that the "Hududgaz Samarqand" branch had unjustifiably charged 1.3 million soums of debt to the household. This amount was recalculated.

In the Fergana region, the process of distributing liquefied petroleum gas to consumers was investigated. It was established that district and city gas departments did not distribute the allocated gas equally and failed to comply with contract terms and schedules.

The Special Commission of the regional administration imposed a financial fine on "Hududgazta'minot" JSC and its branch, and issued a binding instruction to eliminate the violation.

In the Namangan region, the activities of "Namangan Suv Ta'minoti" JSC were inspected. It was revealed that 252.7 million soums of unjustified income was obtained due to non-compliance with established standards for raw materials in forming drinking water and wastewater tariffs, and 1.18 billion soums due to including actually unperformed expenses in the price.

A case was initiated regarding the total unjustified income of over 1.4 billion soums, and a binding instruction was issued to "Namangan Suv Ta'minoti" JSC.

In 2 neighborhoods of the Oqoltin district of the Syrdarya region, it was established that poor-quality drinking water was supplied to 537 consumers, and nearly 6.2 million soums of unjustified funds were collected. A case was initiated against "Sirdaryo Suv Ta'minoti" JSC, and a binding instruction was issued to recalculate this amount for the 537 consumers.
