It is planned to establish the "Kohna Nasaf" tourism center in Qashqadaryo

The construction of the "Kohna Nasaf" tourism center is envisaged in the Qashqadaryo region. This is specified in a draft Presidential decree.

According to the project, 235 hectares of land will be allocated in the "Batosh" neighborhood citizens' gathering (MFY), adjacent to the territory of the Qarshi district and the city of Qarshi. In the initial phase, a national-style hotel, restaurant, amphitheater, "Eastern Bazaar", shopping, and service facilities will be built on an area of 35 hectares.

Additionally, 3 kilometers of the Qashqadaryo riverbank will be reinforced, and a 7-kilometer "health corridor", pedestrian and bicycle paths, as well as 3 pedestrian crossings will be established.

The construction of a new 13-kilometer highway leading to the tourism center, as well as the renovation and reconstruction of roadside buildings and structures based on a unified architectural concept, is also planned.

The Turkish company "Vertebra" has been involved in developing the master plan of the center and the construction process.

To finance the project, it is planned to allocate an interest-free loan equivalent to 100 million dollars from the Reconstruction and Development Fund for a period of 3 years.

Once the constructed facilities are commissioned, they will be sold through an auction. The proceeds will be directed towards repaying the allocated loan.
