It has been permitted not to indicate the presence of mobile radars on roads with special road signs
The government has lifted the requirement to indicate the presence of mobile radars on roads with signs. This requirement now applies only to stationary radars. The purpose of the change is stated as reducing the number of traffic rule violations.

Requirement to indicate the presence of mobile radars on roads with special signs has been canceled
By a decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on October 29, the requirement to have a "Radar" road sign when using mobile radars was canceled. This requirement had been introduced on September 1, 2025, by the resolution "On creating additional conveniences for the population in the use of vehicles."
From now on, the "Radar" sign must be installed only in front of stationary radars that monitor traffic speed.
The traffic rules were supplemented with a norm stating that the sign must be placed at a distance of at least 250 meters and no more than 500 meters from the radar.
The purpose of the changes is stated as reducing the number of traffic violations by improving the use of photo and video recording means for offenses.
As a reminder, this document also establishes that not wearing a seatbelt will now be recorded by cameras installed by entrepreneurs as well.
In addition, traffic police inspectors should no longer record crossing a solid line at a distance of 50 meters to an intersection and 20 meters to a U-turn as a traffic violation.
